1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CrackLog mobile application (package name com.cracklog.monityl), the website at https://crack-log.com, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by CrackLog ("we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account, downloading, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
CrackLog is an AI-assisted structural crack monitoring tool that allows users to:
- Photograph and catalog structural cracks in buildings and properties
- Measure crack dimensions using on-device computer vision
- Receive AI-generated classifications, severity assessments, and recommendations
- Track crack growth over time with charts and summaries
- Generate PDF reports for personal, contractor, or insurance purposes
- Sync data across devices via cloud storage (with an account)
The Service is offered in free and paid subscription tiers with varying usage limits. Feature availability depends on your subscription level.
3. Professional Disclaimer
CRACKLOG IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING, BUILDING INSPECTION, OR LEGAL ADVICE.
All measurements, classifications, severity ratings, growth analyses, and recommendations provided by CrackLog — including those generated by artificial intelligence — are for informational and monitoring purposes only. They are based on photographic analysis and automated algorithms that may contain errors or inaccuracies.
You should not rely solely on CrackLog to determine the structural safety of a building or to make decisions about repairs, occupancy, insurance claims, or property transactions. Always consult a licensed structural engineer, qualified building inspector, or other appropriate professional for structural assessments.
We make no warranty that the Service will detect all cracks, accurately measure all dimensions, or correctly assess structural risk in every case.
4. Accounts
4.1 Registration
Certain features require an account. You may register with an email and password or sign in with Google. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
4.3 Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent.
4.4 Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through the app's Account settings. Upon deletion, your authentication credentials are removed. To request deletion of all associated cloud data, see our Privacy Policy or contact support.
5. Subscriptions & Billing
5.1 Paid Plans
CrackLog offers optional paid subscription plans (Homeowner, Pro, and Inspector) with enhanced scan limits, report quotas, and features. Current plan details are displayed in the app and on our website.
5.2 Google Play Billing
All subscriptions are processed through Google Play Store billing. By subscribing, you also agree to Google Play's Terms of Service. Payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Google according to its policies.
5.3 Free Trial
Paid plans may include a 7-day free trial as advertised in the app. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and you will be charged at the then-current rate. Trial eligibility is determined by Google Play.
5.4 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date through your Google Play account settings. We do not process cancellations directly.
5.5 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with notice as required by Google Play and applicable law. Price changes apply to subsequent billing periods.
5.6 Usage Limits
Each tier has monthly limits on AI scans and PDF reports. Limits reset each billing cycle. Attempting to circumvent usage limits is prohibited.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
- Circumvent security measures, usage limits, subscription checks, or App Check protections
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service without authorization

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of photographs, labels, reports, and other content you upload or create in CrackLog ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, display, and transmit Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service — including sending images to AI analysis services as described in our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws. You are solely responsible for Your Content and any reports or decisions made based on it.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, logos, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by CrackLog and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding except as incidental to normal use of the app.
Inspector-tier subscribers may apply their own company logo to PDF reports as provided by the white-label feature. This does not grant ownership of the CrackLog platform or its underlying technology.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described therein.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service ends immediately
- Provisions that by their nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, governing law) will survive
- We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
Termination of a subscription does not automatically delete your account or stored data unless you explicitly delete your account.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT MEASUREMENTS OR AI ANALYSES WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CRACKLOG AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Any measurements, analyses, or recommendations provided by the Service
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Any third-party conduct or content
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS ($50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CrackLog and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] to attempt informal resolution.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes may be communicated through the app or by email.
